Based in West Cork, I was given my first camera by an uncle when I was much to small to appreciate the significance of it.
Over the years, interests have changed, focus shifts from this to that, but I always spent time behind the lens.
Since I was a child, the ocean has played a major role in every facet of my life and that extends itself into my photographic work. Most of my own personal favorite images all revolve around the ocean.
I have learned to appreciate the benefits of being able to capture special moments in peoples lives and I take great joy from been give the chance to share and document these times.
In the past I was lucky enough to win the An Taisce Coastal Landscape photo of the year, which then lead onto my first exhibition of work in Ballymaloe house in Co Cork, I have since exhibited in Clonakilty, Kenmare, Lahinch with work currently hanging in the Inchydoney House hotel. My work will also be featured in the shore shots film festival 2014 and will be exhibited at the Cliffs of Moher visitor center.
